A few months back, I had publicly stated here on this blog that I would never do another Iron Man figure. Well, here's another Iron Man figure. I just couldn't help myself. I bought the Hall of Armor set, totally excited to have a Tony Stark Figure and a fully articulated Mark 42 figure, only to be sorely disappointed by the horrific paint job the latter figure received. So here he is, a Mark 42 Marvel Universe 4 inch scale fully custom painted Iron Man figure. And no more Iron Man figures after this, and this time I really do mean it!
Two new Joes that I've done before, but this time in desert environment gear. I made these two to accompany my SEAL team.
My first actual scratch built diorama, starring my new Gi Joe Army Rangers team, was created from foam, plaster, wood and tid bits from the dollhouse aisle at hobby lobby.
This is how the project starts. A basic cut out of foam, glued together to form the structural foundation. I cut the base the same dimensions as the completed dio so when it is finished the two can be used adjacent to each other and look like one large structure.
About My Custom Action Figure Blog
After being totally wowed by the plethora of Star Wars, GI Joe and Marvel Universe custom figures on the internet I got inspired to bust a couple out myself! The purpose of this blog is just to share my work, get feedback and make connections with other people who love custom action figures and creative expression as much as I do. I love comments, whether you love my stuff or downright hate it, so leave your opinions for me to see! I am always open to ideas and suggestions for new projects as well. Thanks for viewing, and may the Force be with you.
